York Prescience EU-362 3-Valve Euphonium - (used instrument, fully serviced)

The instrument is supplied in a used York Prescience hard case, in full working order and fairly good cosmetic condition. The zips, handles, feet and wheels are all present and in good condition. Cosmetic wear is limited to a few scuff marks and a single small tear in the fabric covering.

An unbranded 6BL mouthpiece is included in the listing. We would not recommend using this as your primary mouthpiece, but it may serve as a useful spare.

Condition Description

This euphonium has been fully tested and serviced by our technicians to ensure complete function and the best possible sound.

The mechanical condition is excellent:

The tuning slides have been cleaned, polished, and carefully fitted, creating a tight fit and a neat surface finish. They move smoothly and offer good resistance.
The valves have been thoroughly cleaned, and their action is quick, easy and smooth. The pistons themselves are unmarked and in excellent condition.

The euphonium blows freely and produces a strong tone.

The cosmetic condition is good:

There are a few tiny dings on the instrument, but the brass is generally in very good condition.

The plating is similarly good, with a few small scratches in the more exposed areas and only a thin layer of polishing marks (tiny surface marks picked up from a cleaning cloth).

Overall, the instrument is very presentable.
