I bought this (pre-owned) a few years ago from John Packer music shop who checked and serviced it for me. I purchased it on a whim and I have never even attempted to play it, so it has remained in its case, unused by me, so is in very good condition. The price is £799 or nearest offer and this includes a reed case with two reeds, cork grease, silk swab, book and retractable stand. The following description is Yamaha's:

This economical ABS resin body oboe features a simplified Conservatoire system, making it is easier to play for beginners. The precise intonation allows students to focus more on developing their own musical sound and style. But there is nothing 'student-like' about the rich and colourful sound. The 241B features a characteristically warm oboe tone which sounds very close to that of a professional wooden instrument, so even a complete beginner will quickly develop a beautiful tone.

The YOB241B-30 is specifically designed for the UK and features a thumbplate and a low Bb Key on the bell
