Rocktron Piranha Guitar Preamp and Midi Footswitch

Used, recorded with and gigged for a few years but time for me to move on, excellent and rare preamp ideal for metal, rock, grunge and other heavy genres, used predominantly during the 90s by bands like Megadeth and Judas Priest, specifically Painkiller, see 1:15 (https://youtu.be/ViUzyUS-4PI) but also later on by the likes of Nightwish and Slipknot.

Tube power with digital convenience, settings can be edited like on a normal amp and stored without the endless menus of a full digital rack, just aswell as the manual isn't included but can be found online but honestly you probably won't need it, it's that easy. Have left my own settings on there so you'll be off to a good start too! Has inbuilt "Hush" adjustable noise gate aswell so no fuzz when you crank up the gain. Some usage scuffs but always kept in a flight case and everything is solid and works as it should.

Comes with the midi X-change foot switch so you can easily cycle thru the effects (up/down/switch between) again this has been used but because of the robust design shows very little wear and tear.

Power and 7-pin midi cables not included as I used a power bank from my rack system but will run off of a normal 240v 'kettle' lead and 9v battery/adapter respectively

Will be well protected for delivery, buyers must send me proof it's being used well and gone to a good home after purchase! ;)

Additional: In response to a question raised the unit has previously been converted to run on UK 240V power supply, rather than the 115V rate as shown on the rear of the unit, you will therefor be able to run it on regular UK power lead without the need for a step down transformer or anything like that :)
