Howarth junior oboe instrument. Condition is "Used".
This oboe has been used by my daughter for a few years and she has now progressed to the S10 oboe. This is a beautiful junior oboe, made by Howarth for beginners and children/ younger adults as it is light weight and the keys are more accessible. As with all Howarth oboes, it is top quality and arguably the best instrument to learn on for beginners.
It comes with the back pack case which is very convenient. You will need to purchase your own reeds.
Please see the photos as the cork around one of the tenon joins became worn so we have temporarily repaired if with a fine tape and it has done the job and the instrument still plays brilliantly. In the long term, it would be sensible to have this recorked, or you could do this yourself (there are several you tube videos to assist!)
NB: There is a waiting list for secondhand junior oboes from Howarth as these instruments are seldom available secondhand.
Delivery will be recorded/signed for and insurance can be added. Pick up also available (SW London).
