3/4 Sandner Double Bass (1986) further developed & improved by Beecher Acoustics

I have owned this bass since 2002 when I was a student at Birmingham Junior Conservatoire but I don’t play now so it is time to find it a new home. It is a fantastic bass that performs well in all arenas from symphony orchestra to chamber music to solo work.

It has been specially developed by Beecher Acoustics in Oxford to give full tone and quick response to the player.

It has laminated swell back and solid carved front. The strings are d'Addario "Helicore", orchestral type, light gauge. Apart from tuning it hasn’t been played for some years so you may wish to restring.

Overall its in very good condition. There are some scratches on the back where it has been on a stand and a few small chips but otherwise very good and sounds wonderful.
