1960s 3/4 Double Bass (with adjustable bridge, pickup and soft case).

1960's 3/4 fully carved Double Bass made in the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) under the Eberhard Meinel name.

Used by myself through school and university in orchestral and jazz settings. Perfect for a student who'll be playing classical or jazz, or both. Set up with Pirastro Obligato strings & an Underwood pickup, it's ready to gig.

I also have a beautiful W Seifert pernambuco bow I might be willing to sell (not included).

Work carried out in recent years: new fingerboard, adjustable bridge, new endpin with rubber foot & recent service by Thwaites Strings.
