In well used but perfect playing condition.

Supplied with the original Yamaha mouthpiece and hard case which shows scuffs and scratches from use

The horn shows lots of small dings, scratches and areas of wear from use, mostly on the bell and bell pipe. The inner assemblies, slides, valves etc are free of dents and damage and are all operating perfectly. One bracing has been re-brazed to the rear tuning slide (see pictures). In summary, to purchase a new version will cost between £4000-£4500 depending where purchased. This perfect playing version has lots of signs of use and is substantially cheaper. If you're happy with some scratches and dings, it's a huge saving.

The Yamaha YHR-668 Full Double French Horn combines the beautiful rich tone and commanding presence the great vintage 'Krüspe' style horns. It has a large throat symphonic bell and is made from Yellow Brass giving a rich, colourful tone.
